Main Street Hardware

Main Street Hardware, located at 56 Main St., is where I go for just about all my hardware needs.  As a Realtor of West Orange Condos, and as a resident living in one, there's a wide assortment of things that I need, both for clients and myself.  What's so great about Main Street Hardware is that it's one of those places where, "if they don't have it, you probably don't need it."

Nuts and Bolts by Larry Chiger

Do You Have One of Those Thingamajigs?

Main Street Hardware has earned a great reputation for having those hard to find gizmos and watchamacallits.  Unlike lots of other stores where everything comes in little sealed and prepackaged envelopes, here you can touch and feel what you're looking for.  I've purchased screws, nut and bolts there of every size, both for American and metric standards. There I buy all the smoke and CO detectors and fire extinguishers that we install when selling a condo.  Whenever I need keys copied without worrying if they'll work when I get them back to the property, that's where I go.

Proprietor, Mark Pierce

Mark has been the owner of Main Street Hardware for about twenty years.  Most times you'll see him tucked in behind a cornucopia of gadgets that act as the front wall of his cash register area.  Mark's customers include everyone from West Orange condo and home owners, to tradespeople and other local store owners.  He is fast, courteous and, best of all, he really knows his hardware.  I can honestly say that I always prefer visiting his hardware store over the frustration of wandering the distant and cavernous aisles of Home Depot.  Stop by his store at 56 Main St., or call him anytime at 973-736-1331.
